No Shoes, No Service
We’ve all heard and seen that “restaurant rule” a million times. But a Burger King took this no shoes no service thing to an ridiculous extreme! A woman in St. Louis, Missouri, was ordered out of a Burger King because her six-month-old daughter wasn’t wearing shoes.
Ridiculous? Absolutely.
The mom was carrying her six month old baby in her arms as she ordered her food. Some insane manager told the mom that she would have to order her food to go because the baby had no shoes on which was “against health codes.” Omg.
It gets better.
The mom went ahead and put socks on her baby…the sixth month old baby in her arms, and still the idiot manager was not satisfied.
Hold on.
The mom tried to explain to the fool that babies do not usually wear shoes:
“She doesn’t own shoes,” the mom told him. “She’s only six months old, she doesn’t walk. She’s not touching the ground. So there’s no reason for her to have shoes on.”
The manager (whom I hope is being fired as I type) had this response..ready???
He threatened to call the police.
Yep. Call the police on a six month old baby that would not wear shoes in Burger King, and her unruly mom.
Amazing.
The mom ended up leaving. Too bad. I wish she had let the manager call the police while she called the local news station.
